What stays on your iPhone
Chambers stores focus goals, session times and durations, card-review history, quiz answers recorded as correct or needing another look, review schedules, and app preferences on your device. There is no advertising, tracking, or analytics collection. Cloud synchronization is disabled in this version.
Gatekeeper stores your selected apps, categories, and websites as opaque tokens supplied by Apple, together with temporary-pass settings. This local container is shared only with Chambers’ Screen Time extensions. Your selections are not uploaded.
Permissions and visibility
Screen Time access is optional. If you grant it, Chambers can guard the apps, categories, and websites you select. You can turn off guarding in Gatekeeper and manage authorization in iPhone Settings.
Completion notifications are optional. Your focus goal and countdown may appear in a Live Activity on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Manage these permissions in iPhone Settings if you do not want that information visible there.
Export, deletion, and backups
Settings → Export study record creates a file containing your focus goals, sessions, card reviews, and quiz practice. You choose whether and where to share it. The recipient or service you select handles that copy.
Settings → Delete local study data ends the timer, removes Chambers’ guards, and deletes local study history and Gatekeeper settings. Copies you previously exported and backups controlled by you or Apple are separate.
We do not have access to your local record and cannot recover it for you.
Contacting support
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever details or attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request. Please avoid sending private study goals or your full study export unless necessary to resolve the problem.
Chambers is provided by Billy Joseph Ndizeye. See Chambers support for help with the app or questions about this policy.
Website and platform services
This policy describes the iPhone app. Opening the support website or sending an email uses external hosting or email services. Apple separately handles App Store transactions, platform services, and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple under its own policies.
Changes
If a future version adds optional cloud synchronization or changes these practices, its explanation, policy, and App Store privacy details will be updated before that feature is enabled.
